I want to have VBA code where I pass an array of RICs, a time / date and I get the MID_Price.Close field back so for example - these three RICs: 

USDSROIS2Y=
USDSROIS3Y=
USDSROIS4Y=

COM API is not available in the Workspace and hence cannot be used with VBA. See this answer and alternatives offered for details.

If you want to reference multiple instruments in the Excel sheet, just pass it as a reference to cells in the formula:
