Sources of funds for M&A deal

Hi all,

I am currently working on my master's thesis, which involves analyzing the source of funds in financial transactions.

Does anyone know which is the best way/function to get to know how a M&A transaction was financed (debt/equity or both)? I'm using the Deals Screener Worksheet of Refinitiv Eikon.

Yes exactly, it's this. But I was wondering if there's another function which shows more clearly if e.g. a transactions is (mostly) financed by equity/debt. Or do you have any other suggestions on how to elaborate this the best way?

Otherwise, you can use the Data Item Browser tool to search for other fields. I found this one (TR.MnASourceOfFundDesc).
