Case Create/Update using WC1 API ?

Hi,

I would like to check what is the WC1 API answer of the following scenarii for Creating or updating a
case using a Case ID:

  • Try to Create a case using a Case ID already used ?
  • Update or rescreen a Case using a Case ID already used without
    providing any new information ?
  • Update or rescreen a case using a Case ID already used but
    adding new filters ? For example adding Date of birth which you did not do for
    the first screening ? Do we keep the old results and flag them as False positive
    ? Override the case ? Will I see the change in the audit log ?

    - No, you cannot use the same Case ID to create multiple cases.

    • Update or rescreen a Case using a Case ID already used without providing any new information?

    - Yes, you can update/rescreen a case using its case ID, you need to explicitly use the existing case ID for that particular case otherwise it will create a new Case ID.

    • Update or rescreen a case using a Case ID already used but adding new filters? For example, adding Date of birth which you did not do for the first screening? Do we keep the old results and flag them as False positive? Override the case ? Will I see the change in the audit log?

    - Yes, you can add additional filters and rescreen/update the case, and yes we do keep the old results and flag them as False positive and when you rescreen/update it the newer results will be displayed on top of old ones, you'll see the change in the audit log. (Eg: The case was screened.)
