Eikon API Total Return Index in USD

What's the best way for building a Total Return Index in USD using the python API for Eikon? I thought about accumulating the TR.TotalReturn field, but that field doesn't appear to accept Currency as a paramater.

I suggest you try and build out a spreadsheet model first with the help of Thomson Reuters support and only then try it with the API.
