Install/Use EIKON API to supply another Application

Hello,

Actually we use informations from EIKON to full an Excel file. This file is used by another application (from 3V Finances).
We have a server with EIKON, Excel and some batch for Excel file.
We are looking to simplify this architecture using API if it's possible.
But after reading some documentation about the existing API for EIKON i have some question :

* it's possible to use API whitout installing EIKON on our server, or the installation of EIKON in our server it's mandatory?

* it's possible to directly use the API between EIKON and this other application (this application don't have API) ? I think we need to develop some interface between this application and the API ?

@erwan.colomb using Eikon in this context will break the end user license, you will need to use an enterprise level API, such as Datascope Select. I suggest you speak to a Thomson Reuters representative and they can advise the most appropriate product for your workflow.

Thanks for the response, I will contact a Thomson Reuters representative to see how to try the Datascope API for my use.
