download bond description via python API

I need to download us municipal bond details from eikon the result is very large 974,750 rows how can I download the data using python eikon data api(not excel) or through the GUI.

I cant use the solution the post as bond monitor does not allow more than 500 entries at a time.

I think it is not feasible on Eikon Data API(Python).

First, bond search is not available on Eikon Data API(Python)

Second, to work around that, you have to import search result into a "list" and as you have seen that it only support 500 RIC at a time.

Third, even you manage to get all the RIC code for 974750 instruments, you will have to manage to break it down to a lot of smaller requests and you will hit API usage limitation in no time.

I saw that you have access to DSS/Tick History API (saw you asked questions about it)

I think it is possible to explore on how to extract RIC and information for the same universe using DSS product.
