Migrating from Eikon to Workspace

Hi, my school will migrate from Eikon to Workspace next month. I am wondering whether there is any difference when using Eikon data API through python desktop if the only workspace is available? My school will terminate the Eikon product.

Besides, could you please give me some suggestions when migrating from Eikon to Workspace? What is the difference between Eikon and Workspace?

    Hi @econ-eikon5

    On the Eikon Data API usage, there will be no impact at all.

    You must have Refinitiv Workspace(RWS) application running on the same physical machine as your Python application using Eikon Data API.

    On the product comparison, I would suggest that you can submit a ticket to the helpdesk to get more in-depth on product comparison.

    But in summary, RWS is the next generation of Eikon Desktop.
