Refinitive Excel add in is different

Hi the Refinitiv comunity,

this might be a stupid question but anyway. I wanted to use my excel add in today and once I oppened excel it was no longer there. Therefore I got it from the appstore (dont know it I got the right verion). But now it looks really different and I dont know how to access data anymore. Did I do anything wrong? and if not is there a guid how to use this "new" version.

In the start menu, could you try searching for 'Eikon' then looking for 'Refinitiv Eikon - Microsoft Excel'

From there, you will be able to see the tab 'Refinitiv Eikon'

To enable 'Refintiiv Eikon Datastream', after logging in to Refinitiv Eikon add-in, you can click on 'Add-Ons' then click Enable the 'Datastream' app (the screenshot is provided in the comment

I am facing the same issue on Mac. How can I display this version of excel add-in? Mac doesn't have start menu.

This question is not, by any means, stupid! I am genuinely frustrated with the situation I'm facing. I have both Refinitiv Workspace and Eikon installed on my computer, and I'm trying to use the Eikon Excel plugin instead of Workspace because, believe it or not, the data source and API fields are different! Can you imagine the inconvenience? It's far from ideal, and what makes it even worse is that I cannot access the Eikon Excel plugin if Workspace is installed. It's absolutely infuriating! On top of that, finding relevant documentation is an arduous task. Hopefully this gives a glimpse of my frustration now.
