Hi Team,

We are using the RFA 8.2 C++ API to consume market data and open dacs version dacs7.8.0.F1

For AS8 (CentOs 8) we are using → RHEL8_64_GCC831

I want to understand if using of LIBs from RHEL8_64_GCC831 will cause any compatibility issue on AS9 (CentOs 9)? If yes, then where should I get the compatible LIBs for AS9?

  • Hello @mktdata

    What is AS8 and AS9?

You can view the list of all supported OS/Compiler/Components in the API Compatibility list.

    Hi @Gurpreet,

Thank you for the sheet. I checked the list and under Operating system tab it's mentioned that RFA8.2 is compatible with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.X - 64 bit.

But it's missing the RHEL9 LIBs. The highest version I can see is RHEL8_64_GCC831.

Do we need to download the RHEL9 Libs which are compatible with Version 9? If yes could you please let us know from where?

    I checked RFA8.2.5.L3 and found RHEL9 directory.

It was mentioned in the API Compatibility Matrix that the RFA supports RHEL9 in 8.2.5.L1 onwards.

    Thank you @Jirapongse

I have downloaded the package but the package has missing some DACS include files.

The previous version there are total 12 files, but the latest version only has top 4.

    DacsRfa.h
    AuthLockStatus.h
    AuthLockData.h
    AuthLock.h
    ..
    AuthAgentEventStatus.h
    AuthAgentEvent.h
    AuthAgent.h
    AuthException.h
    AuthSystem.h
    AuthCheckStatus.h
    AuthExceptionStatus.h
    AuthRequest.h

Could you please let me know the reason behind this? And from where I can get these includes? (Is it fine if I copy these includes from the RFA 8.2.1 package we have?)

    @mktdata

Those include files are the OpenDACS API.

You can download the OpenDACS API From the Software Download. It is in the MDS - Manageability and Real-Time Open DACS Permission Server API SDK.
