Excel, Blocked Content : The ActiveX content

Hi All,

We are currently UAT Workspace v1.26.312 in our Citrix env and Excel is presenting "ActiveX content blocked" for sheets with VBA code, the previous WS/Excel version experienced no ActiveX blocks.

Has anyone experienced this?

Our desktop physical pc's do not have this issue, so possibly linked with our Citrix/MS365 office policy and the new WS version 1.26.312.

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    I searched this message in Google and found that it relates to the Excel settings.

    To resolve the "ActiveX content blocked" error in Excel, 

    navigate to File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > ActiveX Settings and select a more permissive option

    , such as "Prompt me before enabling all controls with minimal restrictions".

    However, if it doesn't solve the problem, please contact the helpdesk support team directly via LSEG Support.

    Thank you, indeed it is linked with the mentioned ActiveX settings, an internal policy restriction that we will request to be amended.
