I have a problem in installing eikon python api .

I downloaded the code and went to setup.py and clicked on it,iIopened and disappeared before I
could type the command what am I doing

If you install eikon Python API from the code, you have to type "python setup.py install" in a command prompt.

Open a Windows command prompt then launch the command in eikon source directory :

C:\DEV\eikon> python setup.py install
running install
...
Finished processing dependencies for eikon==0.1.9
C:\DEV\eikon><br>

If you just want to use the API, you don't have to download sources.
You can install it in your Python library cache with the "pip install eikon".
