    We carry well over 80 million instruments on Elektron - so not sure if you really want to extract all the available RICs?

    There are ways of getting the required subsets of RICS using DataScope (and there may also be an option using the new Refintiv Data Platform - you could explore the API Playground Symbology services to see if that is possible).

    It is also possible to get a subset of RICs from Elektron, for example, using one of our streaming APS - but this requires the customer to have a Deployed TREP and Elektron Edge device as described in my article. This approach was used in the past when the DataScope was slower to update its database compare to the Edge device.

    However, (I am not a Datascope expert) my understanding the time lag now is quite minimal so DataScope should suffice for most requirements.
