Eikon Data Api Error code 403 | Client Error: Connect failed

Hi, I'm trying to test the Eikon Data API. I've gone through the quick start guide for windows.

403 error has occured.

Hi @masatoshi.kawashima ,

If the full error message is "Error code 403| Client Error: Your Eikon account is not allowed to run Eikon API Proxy. ", I suggest you contact your Refinitiv representative/Account manager based on the Eikon Data API Limitation guide document page.

However, as the message is a bit different, may I ask if you have ever been able to connect to the Eikon Data API before? if so, were you using the same machine/network? or have you never been able to connect?
In the meantime, you can consider using Codebook (cloud-hosted Jupyter notebook within Eikon Desktop/Refinitiv Workspace).

Type in "CODEBK" in the Eikon Desktop/Refinitiv Workspace search bar and press enter to launch the app.
