How to call pandas from the Eikon Code-book, as references to "pd." do not work?

This should be easy, I am using the Jupyter codebook in Eikon desktop. This works fine, but why can't I refer to pd when wanting to use a method from pandas?

Normally one would expect a line like import pandas as pd at the top of a script, but it is missing. Do I still need to add that line?

@blucap ,

Can you try just import the library before you use it? i.e. add the line below at the top of your workbook.

import pandas as pd
