Code changes for upgrading the RFA Java api from RFA 7.7.1.L2 to RFA 8.2.4.L2

Hello,
When upgrading the RFA Java api from RFA 7.7.1.L2 to RFA 8.2.4.L2, are there any code changes required ?Or will all existing functions/calls work as normal and we just need to replace with new rfa jar file?

Thanks in advance.

@applicationsupport

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I checked the documents in the RFA Java 8.x package and found the API Migration on the /Docs/portal/RFAJ_LegacyPortal.html page. However, it doesn't provide detailed information.

If the application uses the legacy market data interface, it required a lot of changes because RFA Java 8.x only supports the OMM interface.

If the application uses the OMM interface, as far as I know, it should work fine with RFA Java 8.x.

However, if you find some issues durting migration, you can post the issues on this forum or contact the API support team directly via Contact Premium Support.
