You can request a token with an HTTP POST request to our Authentication/RequestToken endpoint. This is detailed in Chapter 4 of our REST API User Guide.
The request will contain your DSS credentials in JSON form. See example below.

If your credentials are correct, you will receive a 200 response with your authentication token in the value key.
