RDP works only with certain contracts.

I have been trying to retrieve historical summaries with :


import refinitiv.dataplatform as rdp
rdp.open_desktop_session( eikon_key )

df = rdp.get_historical_price_summaries( universe = ric )


the above code returns a dataframe only with certain RICs ( e.g. LCON1 or LGON1 ) but not with others (e.g. CLN1 , HON1 , RBN1 ) .


Do you know why?

    Hi @davide.costanzo,

    I just tested the RICs that did not return data for you and they do work for me. This may be due to permissions.

    One way to confirm is to execute this call after:

    rdp.get_last_status()

    This should provide a reason.
