stream priority for EED

Hi,

As our ETA API developer guide mentioned, "The Refinitiv Real-Time Advanced Data Hub uses the combination of priorityCount and priorityClass to preempt items when the user’s allowable cache list size is exceeded.", does this mean the priority method as defined inside our ReqMsg interface only apply for TREP ? If our customer only use the EED module, will the priority method useful ?

reqMsg.serviceName("ELEKTRON_DD").name("IBM.N").qos(Timeliness.REALTIME, Rate.TICK_BY_TICK).priority(2,1)

Thanks,

Daniel

Hi @Daniel Zhang

When a consumer connects directly to the EDGE device it cannot take advantage of the advanced features and functionality offered by the ADS or ADH.

Therefore, it is unlikely that priority settings will be acted on by the EED.

You can confirm this by raising a ticket with the EED / RTDS team via My.Refinitiv.
