the DSS client is trying to connect REST API from SAP. Anyone can help in setting up an RFC within SAP to support the necessary HTTP request?

We are not able to provide any help with SAP. The code samples in Python and Postman are contained enough to allow someone to port it to other platforms. I would recommend that you ask this question about Webservice/REST API in SAP forums.
