Hi, it looks like LSEG Python needs an older version of numpy which is incompatable with Python 3.2+ (Numpy <2). Is that something that will be addressed in a future release?
@acathcart
Thank you for reaching out to us.
My machine has numpy (1.26.4) and lseg-data (2.0.0) installed and lseg-data can run properly on my machine.
I checked the numpy (1.26.0) release and it supports Python 3.9-3.12.
Hi - thanks for your answer. The question was whether the lseg-data package will be updated to support numpy 2+.
Thanks
Got it. First, I would like to clarify that LSEG Data Library supports the version of numpy that is compatible with Python 3.9-3.12.
Regarding numpy 2+, I will contact the product team for further consideration.
