Change the working directory for EikonApiWrapperService

We are migrating to a new network and I am trying to set up the EikonApiWrapperService using a local service account.

I am able to start it, but it's working directory is set to system32 and so it is trying to create a log file which is giving me a permissions error:

I tried updating the EikonApiWrapper.py

ek.set_log_path("C:\WorkspaceApiWrapper_git\dist\logs")

That's also not worked, any ideas?

Thanks!

    @AxiomaMDS

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    I checked and found two workarounds.

    The first workaround is calling the ek.set_log_path method before the ek.set_log_level. For example:

    ek.set_app_key('<app key>')
    ek.set_log_path("C:\\WorkspaceApiWrapper_git\\dist\\logs")
    ek.set_log_level(1)

    The second workaround is calling the os.chdir method to change the working directory at the beginning.

    import os
    os.chdir("C:\\WorkspaceApiWrapper_git\\dist\\logs")
