search request for a last name

is it possible to built search request just for a last name (without specifying company or permid)?

how such a request for 'Person' data should be constructed?

The entity search doesn't support the person entity. Therefore, you need to use a matching API to match the name to the person entity.

However, to use the matching API with the person entity, it requires at least [firstname,lastname,companypermid] or [firstname,lastname,companyname].
