EXCEL | VBA

we are moving to LSEG Workspace. I need to open a Workspace Excel with VBA. The workspace add-
in is inserted correctly via File --> Options and if you manually open an Excel, the workspace add-in is also included.

But if I call an Excel via VBA, unfortunately the workspace add-in is missing.

What must the VBA code be to open a Workspace Excel? Which libraries are needed if necessary?

This worked before, but it didn't work with LSEG Workspace.

SET XL = CreateObject("Excel.Application")

Set xlWbk = xl.workbooks.open(strFileName, 3, False)
XL.Visible = True

May I confirm is the code client is using correct? I have already engaged our tech team for the missing workspace add-in but just want to make sure if the code is correct when calling Excel via VBA

We are unfortunately not making any progress. We need a solution that, with VBA calling an Excel

,the LSEG Workspace Addin is also available in the Excel register. Otherwise we have production problems.

Client is requesting a defnite answer, and not a link to discussion forums since they are unable to have any progress.

The problem should be in the Workspace Excel Add-ins itself.

Please escalate this case to the Workspace Excel Add-ins team to investigate this issue.

Sorry is there no VBA code to open workspace excel?

I think we should try first the VBA code that can open workspace excel, or are you saying that the code client is using should work that is why it is determined that the problem is in the addin?
