I am trying to use .Net . Do I need additional permission on my account to use the api?

I am trying to use .Net and I am able to establish a session, but I am unable to make a request or a live market data stream.

I am using the desktop session (which is successful).

Do I need additional permission on my account to use the api?

    @Huma

    If the data is available to be requested using the API, a user should be able to get all the data that they can otherwise request from the LSEG Workspace. Real time market data can be requested via the API. You can ask the user to try out the Samples provided with the .NET package.
