How to download fundamentals data of multiple companies (almost 20,000 companies) for the past 30 years via Python?

Client verbatim: "I need help to download the 30 Years financial of Canada and the US using Excel. I was told to do it via Python. Can you please share the following details which is showing in the configuration file mentioned in your support file."

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Please refer the Refinitiv Data Library for Python. The examples are available on GitHub. This Python library can be used to retrieve fundamentals data which is similar to the =TR function in Excel. The client can also use the Data Item Browser tool to search for available fields.

However, there are limitations in the API. For desktop sessions with the get_data method, please refer to the Eikon Data API Usage and Limits Guideline.
