Hi @liyarthomas

Could you plea give me the exact RIC names that you get data for AUDUSD, UADCAD and USDCHF currencies? We cannot find those RIC names in Elektron.

If we can have the exact RIC names, we can contact the Data support team to help you verify which Fields are the ASK time and BID time.

Additionally, what is the API that you obtain data in the excel file?

For instance we are receiving very different dates depending on the currency, see at image the date column, and those dates have nothing to do with our current local time (curr_time) column).

How we can control that?

Thanks

Hello @liyarthomas

Please be informed that the data in Elektron is presented in GMT/UTC timezone. The API just receives incoming data from Elektron and sends it to the application "as it is", so the application needs to convert the time/date data to the local time by itself.

Thank you Wasin, but then which is the key to get time in GMT/UTC because we have noticed that for each currency the all the times are different, if they wer on UTC all should be the same.

Thanks in advanced.

Hi @liyarthomas

Could you please give me example currency RICs and time Fields that you are interested? What are the RICs and Fields that shows in the excel file?

Please note that if you compare the API with a desktop application like Eikon, the Eikon may already apply local time in the UI layer for you.
