Which is the best API suited for news feed (streaming and historical)

Whats the best API to consider to have a streaming news app? I have looked at .net api 'NFCP_UBMS' functionality and it doesn't seem that user friendly. so just want to know whats the best practice or best suited api that you guys recommend. We would also like to get the historical headlines....

The most comprehensive API is probably Machine Readable News via Elektron datafeed or News Feed Direct for streaming news headlines and stories.

Machine Readable News proposition can also include the news archive.

The most comprehensive API doesn't necessarily mean this is the right proposition for you, as there are numerous variables in play here including your exact requirements, technology stack, commercials and licensing and so on. I suggest you reach out to your Thomson Reuters account manager to discuss the best solution for your use case. Your account manager will if necessary bring in specialists that can explain to you in detail the pros and cons of all the options available and recommend the one that best fits your use case.
