Sorting capability

Hi Team,

We are using the Historical Pricing capability from Refinitiv Data Platform API, and was wondering if it has sorting capability for the response in Interday/Intraday historical requests? Like data starts from start_date if ascending and data starts from end_date if descending? Currently in the requests we always get responses starting from end_date and going back.

We did not find any mention of it in this Document:Historical Pricing: Time Series Summary (bar), Events (T&S).

Hello @bansalshah,

Believe it does not, as the underlying service reference on API Playground does not, in the reference documentation, include any indication of this feature support.

So one approach may be to retrieve and then sort the result to your requirements?

Hi @bansalshah,

I checked the Historical Pricing service details within the Playground and also did not find any capability to sort the data. That being said, feel free to suggest this as a service enhancement within Refinitiv Support. I would suggest you select "Share your Feedback" within the site - perhaps this may be a feature already considered.

thanks.
