Hi Team,
client is using EMA SDK version 2.0.4L1 and commons-configuration2-2.7.jar. They are asking if they can upgrade to commons-configuration2-2.8.jar or above without EMA SDK version upgrade.
Thanks
@gang.chen1
Thank you for reaching out to us.
It is not recommended.
The RTSDK-2.1.3.L1.java.rrg (EMA Java 3.7.3.L1) uses commons-configuration2-2.9.0 so the client should upgrade EMA SDK in order to use the new version of commons-configuration.
Hi Jirapongse,
Thanks. Client want to know any code change is required if they upgrade to RTSDK-2.1.3.L1.java.rrg ?
thanks
Typically, no code change is required. However, it is better to test the application before deploying on the production.

My jdk version is oraclejdk 1.8.0.281, and i get an error when upgrade EMA 3.6.4.0 to 3.8.0.0. It seems that others have also encountered the same problem.

Does EMA 3.8.0.0 not support JDK 1.8?
Hello @sunhao885
According to the RTSDK 2.2.0.L1 (EMA 3.8.0.0) README file, the SDK supports the following Java versions only:
However, the RTSDK 2.1.3.L1 (EMA 3.7.3.0) README states that the SDK supports Oracle JDK 1.8, 1.11 & 1.17, OpenJDK 1.8, 1.11 & 1.17, Amazon Corretto 8 & 11, and the Apache commons-configuration2 version is 2.9.0.
