Hello everyone,

I'm a complete beginner using refinitive Eikon for my Master's thesis.

I need data on the manufacturing companies of S&P 500 from the years 2010 to 2019. How can I dowload lists like this so that I have it in an excel file? Is it possible to download who was CEO for the respective company in those years?

Hi @Sophia1

I would advise using CodeBook. I know one may want to stick to Excel, but seeing as though you are about to start a study, Python is the better tool (and, imho, it is the better suited one too).

1st, go into CodeBook using the screener article as an test/example.
Then, as a preliminary, I would go through this series of tutorials.

2nd, create the screener for the search you're after using this article.

3rd, use the DIB or the Python search module to find the CEO related to your search.

4th, export the data via pandas.
