Firstly, can you confirm if you are asking specifically about the get_data() in the Eikon API or getting data generally from the Refinitiv Data Platform?
If you are after real-time streaming price data from Eikon or the Data Platform, this is available immediately - via the Streaming Price interfaces.
However, for other data - the time of availability will vary depending on the type and source of data. The recommended approach would be for you to contact our Helpdesk and raise a Content-type query - detailing the type of data you are after with some examples and also if you are using RDP or Eikon.
