Hi Team, I'm assisting User regarding an error in API.
The client [GESG1-163451] mentioned that it was working two weeks ago.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

  • Verified workflow:
    • Opened the Workspace application
    • Launched RStudio/API
    • Run the Codes and the error appears "Eikon API request failed. Do you have an Eikon license and Eikon open?"
    • Executed eikon.api::setTRAppID() and entered API Key
    • Ran eikon.api::eikonConnected() → Returns False, though it should be True to confirm API connection
  • Checked Data API Proxy:
    • Status shows Ready
    • Client successfully accessed the API Proxy URL
  • Ran a system test on the client machine:
    • Confirmed that all necessary links are whitelisted
  • Additional steps attempted:
    • Renaming the Workspace cache folder (Issue persists)
    • Generating a new API Key and reconnecting (Issue persists)
