We have a client with DSWS who could connect previously but is now seeing a connection error message.

I have tested the credentials on my eikon Codebook environment and they are valid and returning data. Is this some kind of issue where client firewall is blocking proxy?

There seems to be the proxy problem in the connection between user's machine and the DSWS server, have you tried checking the answer in the same issue in This thread
