Which API I should use to get daily close prices?

I'm reading about using Eikon or Refinitiv platform (web pages: https://developers.refinitiv.com/en/api-catalog/eikon/eikon-data-api and https://developers.refinitiv.com/en/api-catalog/refinitiv-data-platform/refinitiv-data-libraries) to get daily energy prices with python and I wonder which one I should use.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you for reaching out to us.

For Python, you should use Refinitiv Data Library for Python.

This library can be configured to retrieve data via a desktop application or Refintiiv Data Platform.

To get historical data, you can refer to this example on GitHub.
