Elektron WebSocket API - Explicity send Logout message?

I've been reviewing the documentation for the Elektron WebSocket API. When using the API do I need to explicitly send a 'Logout' message? Or does the API logout if a user's connection is lost/doesn't recieve a ping?

    Hi @jonathan.powell

    The infrastructure will automatically logout the user if the connection is terminated. It will also terminate the connection, if the reply to ping message is not received.
